Precision & Fantasy and Star Cut Sapphires

Most sapphires on the market are cut for yield. The priority is preserving carat weight from the rough, and the shape of the finished stone follows whatever gets there with the least waste. Precision and fantasy cutting takes the opposite approach. Precision cutting means every facet is placed to meet at an exact point, with proportions calculated to maximise brilliance and light return rather than raw carat weight. Fantasy cutting takes this further, with hand engraved concave facets radiating across the pavilion, creating light performance a standard cut simply cannot produce. Every sapphire in this collection has been personally assessed by our gemmologist for cut quality, colour, and clarity before it's offered for sale. Treatment status is disclosed for each stone individually. Where a sapphire is unheated, this is stated clearly; where heat treatment has been applied (the only treatment we stock), this is disclosed as well.
